Lake County Registration Office

Juvenile Registry Request Limits
A juvenile adjudication does not appear in the public web list. CBI accepts a narrow written request for a named juvenile. The requester must give the full name, describe the need, and affirm strict limits on publication, harassment, and misuse. Date of birth, county of adjudication, case number, and gender can help identify the subject. The research found no fee for that juvenile search.
This is not a way to obtain a broad juvenile list. Court discontinuance rules also differ from the adult process, so direct questions about relief should go to the proper court or qualified counsel.
Community Notification and Lawful Use
Registry data is intended for lawful awareness and safety planning. Confirm urgent information with the Lake County Sheriff's Office. Report suspected failure to register to LCSO or CBI's tip line at 303-239-5732. Do not use a public profile to confront, threaten, or shame a registrant or household.
Misuse is a crime: C.R.S. 18-9-310.5 penalizes false statements and prohibited dissemination or harassment uses, with a fine up to $1,000 per violation.

Community notification never authorizes retaliation. Do not republish a profile to target a household. Never use registry data to intimidate, coerce, or cause serious emotional distress. Send a suspected compliance issue to LCSO or the CBI tip line. Preserve the official URL, search method, and date. Law enforcement can compare the report with nonpublic registration data.
Address information should support a practical safety plan, not a confrontation. Families can review routes, talk about boundaries, and use official contacts for questions. A new zero-result search does not certify that no registrants live nearby because the public site omits categories by law. Likewise, a listed profile should not be treated as proof of current danger.
Local registration and public disclosure are separate jobs. The Lake County Sheriff's Office receives registrations, checks documents, collects the published local fee, and sends data through the state system. CBI manages the public interface and statewide request channels. Questions about appointments belong with the sheriff.
